About Colorito
Colorito started with an expensive mistake: a session with a personal stylist, a pile of new clothes, and the slow realization at home that half of it was the wrong color and none of it filled the actual gaps in the wardrobe. The problem wasn't the stylist. The problem was walking in without a foundation — no color analysis, no inventory, no plan.
That foundation is exactly what software does better than a two-hour appointment. Undertone, depth, and contrast can be read from a photograph. A palette can be carried in your pocket instead of a printed folder. And a stylist who remembers every conversation beats one who sees you once a year.

Brandon Bevans is the founder of Colorito and builds it end to end. Colorito began after his own stylist session went wrong. He spent a lot of money on a stylist and new clothes only to find that they all looked terrible with his skin complexion and hair color. The same day he started Colorito with a basic $9 color analysis that would have saved him thousands.
Every guide on this site is written and maintained by him; each page carries his byline and the date it last changed. He reads support@colorito.ai himself — there is no ticket queue.
How the analysis works
Colorito uses the 12-season system — the refinement of the classic four seasons that professional analysts have converged on — reading four signals: undertone (warm to cool), value (light to deep), chroma (bright to soft), and the contrast between your features. The AI analyst reads those from your photo, cross-checks against your calibration answers to correct for lighting, and commits to a verdict. No fence-sitting.
The analysis costs $9 — one payment, one full read: your season, your palette, and the colors working against you. No subscription, no upsell halfway through; we charge for the verdict because the verdict is the product. The guides, the season pages, and the palette cards stay free, and photos you share are stored securely — they power your palette and make our analyst sharper.
Where the data comes from
Season palettes. The twelve season palettes, the colors to avoid, the neutrals, and every “what goes with” page are derived from one in-house season dataset at build time. They are not hand-listed per page, so a color cannot say one thing on a season page and another on a color page.
Studio prices. Studio prices come from each studio's own published pricing: 31 of the 39 studios listed publish a figure and the other 8 are shown as quote-on-inquiry, never estimated. Colorito has no affiliate or referral relationship with any studio. The city pages name the studio, its neighborhood, and the price as that studio states it; the cost guide summarizes the 31 published figures across those 39 records.
Your verdict. It comes from the photo you upload (or the Instagram photos you point us at) plus the calibration answers you give — never from purchased data or a profile about you.
Corrections and takedowns
Colorito is an informational site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by any studio or stylist it names, and it takes no referral fee from any of them. It names fragrance brands and retailers on the perfume pages without payment from any of them.
If you run a studio we list and a price, name, or neighborhood is wrong or out of date, email support@colorito.ai with the page URL and the correct figure — a link to your own published pricing is best. We check it against your page and update or remove the row within five business days, and the page's “updated” date changes with it. The same address handles a request to remove a listing entirely.
Found a mistake in a guide? Same address, same five days. Refunds, deletions, and everything else go through the contact page.

Using our charts and images
The original charts we publish — starting with the skin tone chart — are released under CC BY 4.0. You may share, embed, print, or reuse them, including commercially, as long as Colorito is credited with a visible link to the page the chart comes from. Each chart page carries a ready-made embed snippet that includes that link. Please don't change the values or present an edited version as ours.
Photos people upload for their analysis are never published and are not covered by this license. For any other use, email support@colorito.ai.
